Gilera 150 Sport fork oil capacity

Good morning, can anyone please tell me the correct amount of front fork oil for a 1957 Gilera 150 Sport?

Hello Andy,

That should be about 90cc for each fork leg.
I usually put in regular engine oil, SAE 50.

the manual, mentioned above, tells SAE 20 to 40.
But thats the theory, you are the man with the practical experience

You are absolutely right Joachim, the manual says SAE 20 to 40.
So the 50 grade oil is a little thicker resulting in firmer damping.
But that is very welcome as most of us are heavier then the average Italian rider
